“On my way down, to the wedding store”. “On my way down to live you will never more”. These are the beautiful lyrics by the band “The Third Letter”, a great late 90’s rock band from Chicago. I was listening to the song, “On my Way Down” the other day by The Third Letter on my way to the vitamin shop to buy my omega 3 capsules and I was struck by the beauty of these very dark Poe-like lyrics. I prefer walking to the vitamin store rather than those ass knocks that buy vitamins online, what uncreative losers. Anyway this song desribes, accurately in my opinion, the downside of marriage. It goes into detail about a member of the band, Dan Tutko, and how he got married and never was the same, and how he commited suicide after only 1 and a half years of marriage. In his note he specifically cited marriage as the culprit in his life taking decision. Crazy times man.

I found an old friend while searching on the internet(s) for the vitamin shop. (cool post here btw if anyone is interested.) It was a doors album I had bought a long time ago, “Morrison Hotel”. I know what your thinking, The Doors are so played out and blah, blah. The healthiest thing about Jim Morrison was that he used to sing his heart out whenever the Doors played, man. I like to do this also with my band “Stickey Fingers and Cream”. Except I am not as crazy as Morrison, I like to actually take care of my body. That’s why I take the best mltivitamins I can so I don’t die at 27.
I love running into old good albums I had forgotton about.
