I think we all know

that record stores are dying. So let me be the first to say I feel like much of the rest of the world when I say meh. It does suck that mom and pop record stores are dying. Those places are great places to congregate and talk all things music. But the up side of the death of the record store is that it puts more emphasis on the live performance. This is where I think a lot of the pretty people pop crap will get weeded out. The true baramoter and orac value of any musician is the live show. Nothing compares to it!

damage control to major Tom

We will be discussing our favorite lyrics here boys and girls. I love great lyrics in music. I love when they come together so magically with amazing grace, you can do nothing but cry.  Example you say friend? The song “Magic Carpet Ride” is about the lead singer experiencing lame fraternity rituals, and then singing about them. I guess it pissed off frat boys everywhere. I love that.
